Pro Skier CR Johnson Dies While Skiing

Pro Skier CR Johnson died today while skiing at Squaw Valley, California. Reportedly Johnson, who is a Lake Tahoe native, caught an edge on one of the exposed rocks causing him to fall through the rocks before landing and hitting his head several hundred yards below. He apparently was wearing a helmet but according to officials died instantly. In recent years Johnson is best known for his comeback after suffering a traumatic brain injury in 2005, but he was known well before than as a two-time Winter X Games medalist and numerous other honors. Johnson was only twenty-six-years old.
